October 2012

Posted by on 27th October 2012

It seems like a long time since The Nationals and it’s time to try to get some of the horses qualified for the Winter Regionals.

Bonanza (Bono)

Bonanza (‘Bono’) was out first on Friday 19th October at Patchetts, doing his first Elementary tests. What a star with over 72%!

BYRDS

Off then for the weekend to the BYRDS Home International at Bishop Burton to help our Central Region team. The teams finished 4th and 8th out of 22 teams. Congratulations to all of the riders!

Maria (Central BYRDS Rep), myself and Bruce Clarke watching Rachael Clarke’s test from our vantage point!! Snapped by Jackie.  No, we weren’t pretending to be on the podium…

Moggie

Olivia took Moggie to Patchetts over the weekend with a successful Novice test – his first dressage outing for a long time!

Wise Guy (Fro)

The next day was Wise Guy’s turn at Bury Farm. He finished with a win with over 68% in the Advanced Medium 98, with some lovely comments from the judge.

Bertha and Arabesque

On to Addington on Thursday 25th with Sondra taking Litvia Roses (Bertha) for her first Prelim! A great start for an impeccably behaved Bertha with 73.9%.  Arabesque also had her first outing from Beacon Farm with Sondra with a respectable 67% and 65% in the Novices.
